A new methodology would help to convert any baseline site trips data into person and modal trips. For example, vehicle trips data from ITE Trip Generation Manual can be easily converted into total baseline site person trips that account person trips from both counted and non-counted modes. This enables analysts to estimate total person trips at study site instead of total vehicle trips. Person trips can then be converted into modal trips using local or proxy site mode share, occupancy and directional splits. Furthermore, trips can be estimated by creating customized modes for study sites. This helps to build a realistic scenario of study site regardless of the location of the user.
For the analysis of multiple scenarios, OTISS 4.0 helps creation of different development scenarios with different inputs in a single project. On completion of analysis of all scenarios, it is possible to compare the results among different scenarios.
